I started my career in Jefferson County Public Schools in 2003 as a substitute teacher. This is my 13th year in JCPS, my 10th year as a classroom teacher, and my 8th year as a Johnson Jaguar. I have taught various subjects over the years: including 6th, 7th and 8th grade math, math interventions, and science.
I love to teach children, and look forward to working with students to heighten their curiosity, as well as to increase their science knowledge.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, writing, hiking, running, swimming, spending time with my family, and playing with my dog Riley.
